Halki Island Full-Day Trip

Halki is a picturesque island near Rhodes, celebrated for its neoclassical harbor town, serene atmosphere, and crystalline waters. With no cars and a relaxed pace, it offers a true escape into simplicity. The main village, Emporios, enchants visitors with pastel-colored houses, quiet cafes, and small coves perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Recognized by UNESCO as the “Island of Peace and Friendship,” Halki is ideal for travelers seeking tranquility, elegance, and authentic island charm.

For swimming, the most accessible beach is Pontamos, just a 10-minute walk from the port—featuring soft golden sand and clear turquoise water. For something more secluded, take a boat to distant beaches like Ftenaya, Giali, or Kania, each offering pristine natural beauty.

The journey from Pigadia to Halki takes approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes, while from Diafani it’s about 1 hour and 40 minutes. This route is made by Blue Star Chios ferry and needs to be pre booked here.
